AI cold calling: compliance basics every team should know

Outbound calling is regulated, and adding AI does not remove those obligations; it adds one more: telling people they are speaking with an automated assistant where required.

Treat four controls as table stakes: disclose the AI by default, scrub every list against Do-Not-Call sources before dialing, only call within allowed hours for the contact timezone, and respect recording-consent rules for the jurisdictions you operate in.

These are product controls, not just policy text. Wire them into the dialing path so a campaign cannot accidentally bypass them.
